Bastyr University, a private regionally accredited institution, is accepting applications for a faculty position in the Department of Counseling and Health Psychology in the School of Natural Health Arts and Sciences at its Kenmore (15 miles North of Seattle), Washington campus.

Instructional duties and responsibilities include teaching undergraduate course in Social Psychology. Course content should cover basic areas of Social Psychology such as persuasion, attitude change, prejudice, conformity, aggression, group behavior and process, leadership and social cognition as well as provide coverage of the application of social psychology to current events and social issues in an engaging and active classroom atmosphere.


Candidate should have a graduate degree in Psychology and previous experience teaching Social Psychology. Ph.D. is preferred but Master’s-level with considerable teaching experience will be considered.

Work schedule: 4 credit
Hiring range: Salary DOE
