Do you feel like you spend so much time caring for others that you are left with no time to care for yourself? Much in the same way that airlines tell you to “put the oxygen mask on yourself first,” self care is essential to our well being which in turn is essential to those we’re caring for. This class is tailored to people who are entrusted with the care of another - whether as health care providers, parents, teachers, children caring for aging parents, or spouses caring for disabled partners. It addresses the reality that many caregivers are so good at caring for others, but often fall short in caring for themselves. This experiential workshop is designed for that caregiver. Sat, Mar 7, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Instructor: Ada-Reva Spae. (7 CEUs)
